China Foreign Exchange Trade System (CFETS) published that CFETS RMB Index on 29 May 2026 closed at 100.66, gaining 0.49% from the end of last month.

In order to facilitate the market to observe the change of RMB effective exchange rate from different perspectives, CFETS also published RMB indices based on BIS currency basket and SDR currency basket respectively. On 29 May 2026, the above two indices closed at 108.51 and 96.03 respectively, gaining 0.67% and 0.83% from the end of last month.
