China Foreign Exchange Trade System (CFETS) published that CFETS RMB Index on 31 January 2024 closed at 98.89, gaining 1.51% from the end of last month.

In order to facilitate the market to observe the change of RMB effective exchange rate from different perspectives, CFETS also published RMB indices based on BIS currency basket and SDR currency basket respectively. On 31 January 2023, the above two indices closed at 104.02 and 93.98 respectively, gaining 1.56% and 0.80% from the end of last month.
